Petite Fashion Challenge # 5

Brighten Up Your Winter Blahs!

Oufit Challenge- Create a sophisticated work appropriate look that has no more than one dark piece (it can be a skirt, pants, a blazer, sweater etc...) excluding shoes, accessories and hosiery.

------------------------------------------

Special thanks to Shorty Stories for hosting this month's PFC :D

This is my first time participating in the Petite Fashion Challenge and I heard of it from a fellow blogger at The Little Dust Princess [I love her style ^^] and was interested in it and wanted to be a part of PFC. So here I am, first time taking part, here goes... It was sort of difficult trying to pick out a work outfit that had no more than 1 dark piece, since my closet consists of mostly blacks. But I tried my best and this is what I came up with.. also my theme was red.

  1. Thanks for the mention. *blushes* You have such a gorgeous body! I love the red..and I love how you wore a vest over it. Tucking in the shirt really elongates your body! How tall are you?

  3. Your vest is so cute! You also pulled off grey and brown together really well! I have a hard time with that color combination.

  8. I think you did a great job with this challenge. I totally understand how hard it was because I wear a lot of grays and blacks too. What brand is your bag? I like how feminine it looks, works well with your pearls!

  16. Such an interesting combo, and I love it. Taking some of Jean's word, I love the menswear inspired pieces with the injection of pearls and heels to feminize ( I totally made that word up) it. I think the purse(?) is such an adorable addition. Love the look!! good job!
