Brighten Up Your Winter Blahs!
Oufit Challenge- Create a sophisticated work appropriate look that has no more than one dark piece (it can be a skirt, pants, a blazer, sweater etc...) excluding shoes, accessories and hosiery.

Special thanks to Shorty Stories for hosting this month's PFC :D
This is my first time participating in the Petite Fashion Challenge and I heard of it from a fellow blogger at The Little Dust Princess [I love her style ^^] and was interested in it and wanted to be a part of PFC. So here I am, first time taking part, here goes... It was sort of difficult trying to pick out a work outfit that had no more than 1 dark piece, since my closet consists of mostly blacks. But I tried my best and this is what I came up with.. also my theme was red.
Thanks for the mention. *blushes* You have such a gorgeous body! I love the red..and I love how you wore a vest over it. Tucking in the shirt really elongates your body! How tall are you?

Ah the red looks beautiful on you. Great choice!
ReplyDeleteYour vest is so cute! You also pulled off grey and brown together really well! I have a hard time with that color combination.
ReplyDeletebtw do you have Twitter?!
ReplyDeleteAw I like this menswear-inspired combo spruced up with ladylike pearls and heels!
ReplyDeleteI agree with PetiteAsianGirl (everytime I see this I get sorta confused and then I think, ohhh ExtraPetite): love the menswear look and I'm going crazy for that bag!
ReplyDeletei love red for the winter time (and it'll be perfect for the upcoming Chinese New Year too!). and the vest is a great addition. i love the menswear inspiration!

I agree with Kileen - red = great for not just Chinese New Year, but Valentine's Day, to. Great outfit...is the purse vintage?
ReplyDeleteI think you did a great job with this challenge. I totally understand how hard it was because I wear a lot of grays and blacks too. What brand is your bag? I like how feminine it looks, works well with your pearls!
ReplyDeleteLove the red:) and I like the shape of the pants, they are a little different from normal work pants but still totally appropriate!
ReplyDeleteVests! I always forget about vests! You've inspired me! :) Kiki
ReplyDeleteFabulous! Vests are everywhere right now, this is so on trend!

Such an interesting combo, and I love it. Taking some of Jean's word, I love the menswear inspired pieces with the injection of pearls and heels to feminize ( I totally made that word up) it. I think the purse(?) is such an adorable addition. Love the look!! good job!
